Our Mission
Our "raison d'etre" is to navigate children to realize their potential. We believe students should discover their own strengths and build confidence not only in the classroom, but in their everyday lives. NR Tutoring LLC is dedicated to providing personalized in-home tutoring services for students in grades K-12 in all subjects, including; math, reading & writing, French, and Spanish . Our focus on executive functioning skills ensures that students not only excel academically but also develop essential real-world skills for their future. We bring the learning experience to our student's homes, creating a comfortable and conducive environment for growth and development.
About The Owner
Nicole Rest has always felt a calling to teach and inspire. A recent Cum Laude graduate from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communications, Nicole’s passion for education runs deep. Four years ago, she turned that passion into a thriving tutoring business, helping students of all ages and abilities—whether navigating learning disabilities like ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, or Dyscalculia, or simply seeking to unlock their full potential.
Teaching has been woven into Nicole’s life since childhood. At just 16, she began instructing martial arts, guiding students from toddlers to adults with patience and care. But her love for education started even earlier, inspired by her mother, a dedicated teacher of over 20 years. Nicole grew up in the classroom, assisting her mother with lesson plans, substituting when needed, and witnessing firsthand the transformative power of learning.
For Nicole, teaching isn’t just a job—it’s a heartfelt mission. She believes every student deserves a guide who sees their unique strengths and helps them thrive. Her ultimate dream is to one day open her own academy, a place where every child can feel seen, supported, and empowered. Nicole is honored to be part of your child’s journey, knowing that together, you can create a relationship that will be as life-changing for her as it is for them.
